The government in Thiruvananthapuram has set up an advisory committee to improve the organ transplant process in the state. It consists of nine members, including medical experts, social workers, legal experts, and representatives from NGOs and organ recipients. The committee is chaired by a senior official from the health department and has a two-year term. The goal is to streamline and enhance organ transplant procedures in Kerala.
