Kerala ADGP MR Ajith Kumar has confirmed meeting with RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale at a hotel in Thrissur in May 2023. He clarified to CM Pinarayi Vijayan that it was a personal visit. There are allegations of a “deal” between BJP and CPM in the Thrissur LS seat election, which the ADGP’s meeting may be connected to. He also reportedly met RSS functionary Ram Madhav in Kovalam in Dec 2023. The government and police had kept these meetings confidential, but they were revealed by the opposition.
